The journey took 3hours to complete the city tour.
My findings:
It also known as Palace Museum which the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties and the largest surviving palace complex in the world! It was built from 1406 to 1420 under the rule of Ming Emperor Zhu Di. Built on 8m high, three flights of white marble stone steps, they display the supreme power of the feudal emperors.The buildings of the palace are manificient especially the three main halls:
i) Hall of Supreme Harmony
ii) Hall of Central Harmony
iii) Hall of Preserving Harmony
My view:
The Forbidden City is the symbol of imperial power.

Tiananmen or Gate of Heavenly Peace always welcoming visitors at the entrance of forbidden city

It was awesome having been here in Tiananmen Square, symbol of People Hall of Republic China

ReplyDeleteIts true! Klu taufik nak tau bukan sj jambatan puteh tu, marbel putih and garden tu pon dwat dr jade. Dah nama pun Maharaja China... kaya raya la. jajahanny pun berpuluh2 wilayah. B.t.w. jade jmbatan tu jenis hard jade (dead jead). Jade ni mmg robust utk binaan. Yg 1lg jenis: soft jade utk perhiasan (selalunya kaler ijau).
