My Raya:
Allahu Akbar!! La Ilaha Ila Lallah wa Allahu akbar!...
It is time for today, Muslims in Japan celebrate Eidul Adha as commemorating Prophet's Ibrahim sacrificed His own son, Prophet Ismail as well as honoring the pilgrimage of Hajj in Mecca. The 2010 have witnessed my first time experiencing such great Muslim's event far apart from my family. Although its quite 'strange' celebration in this alien place, a strong spirit of brotherhood shown among Osaka Muslim's community impressively makes me feel the warmth of Eidul Adha. Moreover, Japanese here really tolerate to the practice of Islam without any prejudice.
For Osaka Muslims community, the Eid Adha prayer was performed at 9.30 am , Islamic Culture Center. Many Muslims from different backgrounds and nationalities came to this two-floor house for meeting each other. After listening the Eid Adha's sermon, everyone there enjoy a refreshment. As a new comer in this Alien Planet, I got much knowing them. Some of them already working in automobile companies, lecturer, entrepreneur and absolutely a lot of University student. Today, I would say it's okay celebrating here because everyone this community is like big family.
In this opportunity, I wish Happy Eid Adha for muslims entirely world. In this autum mode, I extend my doa for blessing and happiness to my family, teachers and friends who knowing me. May Allah accept whatever our earnest sacrifice until today as accounted worships.
