Red Maples Bliss

Date:    13 November 2010
Place:   Kusatsu and around Kyoto city.

やっぱり! 京都 に 観光しました.

My Travel Notes:

          Today, my travel diary presently released a new Kyoto chapter. Since the autumn season initiates fascinating red views, I grabbed this opportunity to continue my journey to Kusatsu and Kyoto. The journey took around two hours to reach my first destination, Kusatsu. In Kyoto,  I had visited the Kiyomizu Tera (Temple's Garden). It is known as the most famous landmark in Kyoto region. If you be there at this time, you would be wonder a sensation of red maple trees surrounding the landscape garden. Moreover, you would see the Japanese culture and Shinto's ritual customs inside the temple.

         Along journey, I had  experienced a sightseeing at Kyoto sky building too. Although, it is not as high as Umeda Sky Building and not 360 degrees view of open-air roof top floor, a unique ambient interior structure looks enjoyable. I would say it is like 'Colosseum theater' where it possesses huge elevated staircase upon the peak of top observatory area. Actually, traveling to Kyoto within one day is not enough to explore its whole essence culture. There are other interesting places and events can be explored. But as long as  I reached the 'heart' of Kyoto city, it satisfied enough for now. Soon, this fascinating place might be visited again.

As a record purpose, the traveled route details as follow:

To Kusatsu:
1. Boarding a Hankyu Line:  Minami Senri ==> Awaji ==> Takatsuki-Shi
2. Transfering train to JR Line:  Takatsuki ==> Kyoto ==> Kusatsu (Maibara yuki)
